Exhibited ｜2023 International Space Industry Exhibition｜

YAOKI exhibited a booth at the "2023 International Space Industry Exhibition ISIEX" held at Tokyo Big Sight for three days from 1 (Wed) to 3 (Fri) February. We also participated in the 'Lunar Development Forum' booth as a special cooperator. Here is a report on the event with photos.

This exhibition is one of the largest space business and industry exhibitions in Japan, organized by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun. This is the second time the exhibition has been held, following last year, with a cumulative total of 17,795 visitors* over the three days.

YAOKI lunar rover offered piloting experience at the booth.

At the Daimon booth, we offered a hands-on experience of piloting the YAOKI lunar rover and introduced YAOKI’s challenges and business activities for lunar exploration to many visitors while they saw the actual vehicle.

Participation in the Lunar Development Forum booth as special cooperation

YAOKI participated as a special cooperator in the Lunar Development Forum booth, a joint booth run by the Nikkan Kogyo newspaper. The booth featured a collaboration with the 15th anniversary of the Space Brothers, a VR experience of a lunar rover, and an introduction of each company's efforts towards lunar development.

In addition, each company gave a presentation on the mini-stage, and we also introduced the challenge of the lunar rover YAOKI.

[Lecture] Special edition of the Lunar Development Forum “Why to The Moon Now?”
-The latest developments in NASA’s Artemis programme and the future of Japanese companies.

Mr. Garvey McIntosh, Representative for Asia, NASA Asia Branch, and Mr. Sota Miyake, COO, gave a lecture on the main stage from 5:30 to 16:30 (3 Feb). Under the title 'Why to The Moon Now? - The Latest Developments in NASA's Artemis Project and the Future of Japanese Companies - Mr. McIntosh spoke about the status and prospects for future lunar development.

We have reported on our participation in the ISIEX 2023 International Space Industry Exhibition, which was held for the second time this year and was approximately three times the size of last year’s exhibition. We received a number of enquiries as a result of this exhibition, and we can sense that expectations for the space business are growing.
