What Did YAOKI See in the Crater That Day?

The lunar rover YAOKI, developed by Dymon successfully landed on the Moon on March 7, 2025, and captured 25 photos from inside a crater.

While all the images were taken from the same angle, we discovered that by stacking, adjusting, and analyzing them, various details became visible.

This time, we are making these photo data available for free, allowing people around the world to enjoy them.

We invite you to use your technical skills and imagination to adjust, analyze, and interpret the images sent by YAOKI to make new discoveries!

As a reward for outstanding participants, we will present a highly detailed 1/10 scale YAOKI model, specially made for this event. The winners will be selected and the prizes shipped by early April.

Please follow Dymon’s social media accounts and post your work with the designated hashtag.

I want to be the first Japanese space suit designer. I happened to watch Mr. Nakajima introduce YAOKI on TV a few years ago, and came across his lecture at the 2021 Cosmo girl's online event, and that time! I was secretly impressed. After that, I was able to help out at Dymon and show up at workshops, events, etc.
