Japanese Lunar Rover "YAOKI"
Tokyo, Japan – January 28, 2025 – Dymon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shintomi 1-6-16 DCC Building, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichiro Nakajima) proudly announces the successful final integration of the lunar rover YAOKI, conducted at Intuitive Machines’ facility in Houston, Texas, USA.
For its first lunar mission, Project YAOKI 1 (PY-1), Dymon chose to entrust Haigh-Farr for the antenna technology of its rover. In preparation of this mission, scheduled from October to December 2024, Dymon’s engineers and CEO have recently visited Haigh-Farr’s US headquarters and conducted several integration tests on YAOKI, our ultra-compact lunar rover. As a symbol of this partnership, a replica of YAOKI will be put on display at Haigh-Farr’s headquarters in the near future.
We are pleased to inform you that our head office and Ikebukuro laboratory moved to the following location as of June 1th, 2024.The new address is Cyuo-ku shintomi ,close to Tokyo Station, Ginza and Yurakucho.We look forward to welcoming you to our new location.We will have a laboratory in the basement and a guest room and mission control centre on the ground level. Dymon successfully integration test of YAOKI with Intuitive Machines’ (IM) Nova-C lunar module on the company’s first lunar mission, Project YAOKI 1 (PY-1).IM’s next mission (IM-2) with YAOKI as a payload is scheduled for October-December 2024. scheduled for October-December 2024, in which YAOKI will be carried as a payload.

On March 16, 2023, Chuo Engineering Corporation and our company signed a technology partnership agreement for Project YAOKI. The company provides total engineering services from design, development, analysis, and manufacturing, and will collaborate with YAOKI, a lunar experiment platform, in lunar analysis technology. We will work together to develop the lunar surface markets.
